threadjacking. It's fine by me if it's a public post!
fourthwalling. Happy to play same-face fourthwalling (i.e. remarking on facial similarities with fellow Jude Law PBs), but I'm not particularly interested in fictional character fourthwalling (i.e. 'oh my god, you're Jude Law!').
canon puncture. On the presumably rare occasion of canonmates, I'm happy for them to tell Lenny about future canon he isn't aware of!
backtagging. Always OK with me. I really don't mind backtagging forever, since I'm very slow myself, but I also don't mind handwaving if you'd rather get a thread over with.

ic characteristics.
canon point. Sometime shortly after the end of Episode 6.
physical description. 5'10", very trim, greying hair with a pretty intense widow's peak that he keeps very neat and close-cropped, blue eyes, very handsome. Either dressed like the Pope (all white with gold accents, a big fancy brimmed hat (with a white skullcap underneath), and red loafers), or dressed like the Pope at the gym, in a white tracksuit which is pretty nondescript except for the gold cross on the zipper pull.
demeanor. Extremely haughty, always giving the impression he's looking down his nose at others. He's not a fighter by nature, but he's very self-possessed and eloquent, and is predisposed to giving long, rambling monologues. He can either sound like he's delivering a wrath-of-God sermon full of fire and brimstone or like he's telling you a story to send you off to sleep. Notably, he has an American accent, slightly East Coast-y although he's very well-spoken and enunciates very clearly.
abilities. Nothing supernatural (unless you want to get into the thorny world of praying for miracles), and he's by no means a good fighter in any sense. But he's intelligent and well-read, has a good foundation of historical and political knowledge, and can speak multiple European languages as well as Ecclesiastical Latin.
medical information. Mostly in very good health, except for the fact that he doesn't eat much β hardly anything, in fact β and has some sort of nebulous brain problem which leads to occasional nosebleeds and fainting spells.
cabin information. The door is an intricately carved piece of woodwork with a gilded knocker. Upon opening it, you emerge into a very neat, very sparsely decorated bedroom with an almost medieval flair: plain white walls, a simple single bed and various other pieces of furniture and accoutrements. Notably, there are no windows, and there's a crucifix on one wall. He has a wooden desk and chair, and a hefty wardrobe.
offensive subjects. Obviously he won't take well to being confronted or questioned about his religious beliefs. That being said, I personally don't mind if your character takes umbrage with any aspects of the Catholic faith, since Lenny's happy to debate, I just request that there's a clear IC/OOC divide and that there's nothing overly offensive or insensitive to actual believers who might stumble upon a thread. If you're unsure about a topic that might end up coming up in a thread, please send me a message and we can chat OOC about it! I want to be as respectful as possible. Related to this, please check out the 'notes' bit in the following segment regarding the content of the show and Lenny's tags specifically.

mental. Sure, but letβs talk about it OOC just to make sure weβre on the same page.
mimicry. Please do this, it would be incredibly funny.
violence. Lenny is not remotely trained as a fighter and would suck in a physical brawl β thatβs not to say I donβt want to encourage people to punch him as and when possible, itβs just that he wonβt be very good at fighting back. But he deserves to get socked in the face, we all know it. But again, it would be nice to talk OOC first so we can talk out how things are gonna go.
magic. Happy for other characters to use magic on him! Go wild.
debate. Lennyβs always up for a good debate and will say a lot of things that are probably awful, so feel free to call him out on any of it.
notes. The Young Pope is critical of many aspects of the Catholic Church, but it's not blindly hateful or dismissive of believers. That being said, I understand if you're uncomfortable with the character and want to avoid tagging. Related, the show deals in some part with child abuse in the Catholic Church, and at Lenny's current canon point he's still holding onto some very outdated conservative beliefs, homophobia and anti-abortion being the main ones. If you want to avoid any of these topics, or for any reason you don't want to interact with Lenny at all, please leave a comment on this page (they're screened!) letting me know which journals you want me to avoid tagging. No hard feelings β I understand that he's a complicated character who doesn't appeal to everyone.
