content warnings. Conservative religious beliefs, Catholicism (duh, but it's worth pointing out because it's inevitably going to be very heavy), abandonment by parents. Also, it’s unlikely but there may be references to child abuse in the Catholic Church; these references won’t be detailed, will be extremely infrequent, and won’t come up unless we’ve talked about something OOC first. Lenny is not a survivor, so any references will not be first-hand.

shipping. A blanket no for this one! Shocking, I know, but Lenny is a priest who made vows and he takes those vows very seriously. He will break them for literally nobody, I promise you.

hugging / kissing / flirting. Your character is free to try, but at most they'll get a horrified and/or disgusted look in return, or if they're lucky an extremely pious and thoughtful monologue. Do Not Touch This Pope.

fighting / injuring. I mean, again, you can if you want? I'm not going to stop you? Lenny is extremely punchable so I'm more than prepared for this eventuality, but it would be kind of like punching a child, in that the child would be able to do very little harm in return, but then someone very big and strong would come running over yelling at you like how dare you punch that child and everyone else who saw you punch the child would be like what the fuck is wrong with you, that's a child.

killing. Please don't kill the Pope?

magic / powers. Lenny's canon technically is a mundane one, but Lenny has had miracles enacted on his behalf. That being said, he might be a little disbelieving at first and kind of stubborn when it comes to actually getting his head around some of the more out-there stuff. For people writing powered characters, playing the same "magic is real?!" threads over and over might get boring, so if you want to handwave for the sake of variety, let me know and we can talk about how it panned out instead.

mindreading. Always cool with me! Feel free to message me if there's anything specific you're looking to discover that isn't explicit in a tag.

out of character.

backtagging. Always! I function by backtagging so I more than understand if things get picked up and dropped here and there. Handwaving stuff that drags on for too long will always and forever be an option.

threadhopping. Sure – if it's (non-private) texting conversations on my end, it's almost always fine, but I'd prefer if you asked first if it was a log thread.

fourthwalling. I'd rather avoid it; it's not very interesting for me to play.

offensive subjects. I would really appreciate warnings for footage (specifically, video) of car accidents, including in fiction, so please warn if you're sending me a video that includes anything like that. Also, I'm not interested in writing dub- or nonconsensual sexual situations of any kind, under any circumstances. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy to play out discussions of past trauma on either end, if anything comes up.
